Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is there anything I can't put in a skip?
A:Fridge freezers, asbestos and tyres.

Q: How much notice do I need to give?
A: Usually 24 hours but if you call early then we can often arrange same day skip delivery to local areas.

Q: What is the average skip size?
A: Between 6-8 cubic yards.

Q: What are skip restrictions?
A:You cannot place a skip within 15 meters of a junction and some areas, due to narrow access, are not suitable for skips. If this is the case please contact us and enquire about our wait-and-load service.

Q: Do I need a skip permit?
A: Yes, depending on the location, especially if it is on a public road, a permit is required at a small fee. Check your local council's skip hire guidelines or call us and we can assist you with the process. Permits often expire after one or two weeks so bear this in mind with your planning.
